Overview
Designed by Champion pilot and top designer Mike McConville, and based on the highly successful full size aircraft this giant-scale Sukhoi SU26 from Hangar 9 looks set to take the aerobatic world by storm thanks to it’s optimised design that allows precision and 3D aerobatics to be performed with ease. A highly pre-fabricated model many of the normally time consuming jobs are done for you already. Items such as the fuel tank, control surfaces, hinges and control horns come pre- installed, even the control surfaces are sealed to maximise aerobatic response and the super light construction is covered in an absolutely stunning UltraCote® colour scheme. The model can be powered with a variety of larger petrol engines from 58cc right up to 85cc and the fuselage is ready to accept canister type exhaust systems. Although the Sukhoi is a large model, the two-piece wing and removable rear stabiliser make transport and assembly at the flying field both easy and convenient and durable components like the pre-painted fibreglass cowl with the distinctive louvers moulded in, wheel spats and aluminium landing gear together with the lightweight helmeted pilot figure complete this stunning aerobatic model.
Top quality giant-scale hardware is used throughout and this together with the fully illustrated assembly guide and extensive prefabrication make getting this model flight ready a delightful and enjoyable experience.
