Expressly Heli

Designed specifically for demanding gas heli applications the AR7100 and AR7100R receivers offer both performance and innovation, simplifying radio installation and reducing the amount of on-board equipment, and thus weight, whilst still delivering the solid RF link that is synonymous with Spektrum.

As with other Spektrum systems, combining a primary and secondary remote receiver allows the AR7100 to be installed in the best possible configuration so as to optimise the systems exposure to the RF signal. It also has the facility to add a further second remote receiver, but even with a single remote receiver whatever the orientation of the heli a solid RF link will be maintained at all times.

In addition both receivers feature integrated voltage regulation delivering 2 amps at 5.2 volts providing compatibility between gyro systems and higher power receiver packs. This also reduces the wiring needed in comparison to traditional set-ups, a boon not only from the weight standpoint but also from saving space, helpful in more compact heli designs.

Two types of failsafe feature - SmartSafe (throttle only) and conventional failsafe (all servos) along with Quick Connect which ensures system re-connection within 0.25 seconds in the event of power interruption. Both receivers are compatible with Flight Log, all Spektrum DSM2 transmitters and feature a fail to safe(on) soft switch.
