Authentic, docile and eminently practical, the new 1100mm F4U not only looks the part, its confidence-inspiring flying characteristics and minimal preparation time will have you reaching for it again and again.

Presented in the colour scheme of the F4U flown by Vance ‘Bud' Yount while aboard USS Badoeng Strait during the Korean War this one really is easy on the eye with an abundance of scale detail. Clock the crisply detailed dummy Pratt & Whitney radial, the four-blade Hamilton Standard propeller, slick airbrake-equipped twist ‘n' turn retracts, scale pilot figure, working landing and navigation lights, flaps, drop tanks, arrestor hook, detailed tail wheel and panel lines, to mention but a few.

Designed for a standard 3S 2200mAh LiPo and basic 6-channel R/C the F4U's 850KV brushless motor and 40A ESC combo offers a hugely satisfying vertical performance that'll have you grinning from ear to ear as you scribe large warbird loops over the patch. Go on, treat yourself.

This RTF version includes:

Microzone MC6A 6 Channel 2.4GHz Transmitter and receiver, 11.1v 2200mAh Li-Po Battery and the GT Power SD4 Balance Charger.

Please note: This type of aircraft is not suitable as a beginners / first time model, So we would recommend learning on something that is easier to fly first.
