The directional long-wear tread pattern provides extended tire life, while providing exceptional traction on most any surface. The 2.8" Talon integrates a soft rubber compound, large foam inserts, and a go-anywhere design that allows it to excel on asphalt as well as rocks, grass, dirt, or any other surface. The tapered tread design where the treads meet the sidewall enables the tire to slide on asphalt, to help avoid unwanted traction rolls. Increase the ride height and ground clearance of any Traxxas stadium truck by adding a set 2.8" Talon tires.** When using 2.8" Talon tires on Nitro Sport, Nitro Rustler, or Jato/3.3 use a clutch bell that is 2-4 teeth smaller than stock. When using 2.8" Talon tires on the electric Rustler use a pinion gear that is 4-5 teeth smaller than stock.
