Measure the life your clutch shoes with this Factory Team "Go or No Go" style gauge from Team Associated. When the tool is placed over the clutch shoes and rotated in the direction of the arrows, the smallest internal measurement profile of the gauge, 23.40mm, determines if the shoes are too worn - with new shoes, it will turn only slightly (left photo); with worn shoes it will turn more (right photo). If the shoes are smaller than the tool, replace the shoes for optimal performance. The tool works with a complete clutch assembly either installed or uninstalled on an engine.
