This Mercedes Benz Actros MP4 Curtainside Trailer Diecast Model Lorry is Red and Green and features working wheels. It is made by Corgi and is 1:50 scale (approx. 34cm / 13.4in long). Founded in 1964 by brothers David and James - McGawn Bros began making wrought iron gates in a garden shed in Ayr. In 1968 - in need of a larger premises - it moved to a yard in Maybole and bought its first unit and trailer - McGawn Bros was branching out into the world of haulage! Its unit was used to haul timber from Argyll to Workington for a saw mill and by 1975 their fleet had grown to six vehicles. McGawn Bros continues to operate from its two locations in Maybole. Limited edition of 800 pieces worldwide complete with numbered certificate.
