The SFR-1-HL is a multifunction all-rounder module, designed for the tanks of Torro / Taigen and Heng Long (up to 4th generation). The module replaces the (simple) original control unit for a much better sound and driving behaviour.

All connectors are compatible with the tank wires. One exception is the 4th generation the Heng Long RX-18. This generation requires an adapter plug to control the turret.

Thanks to various setting options the SFR-1-HL can be easily adjusted to all model requirements and driving behaviors. For an easy start we have more than 30 ready to use sound projects for different types of tanks. Own recordings can also be used.

The Software Sound-Teacher SFR-1-HL is only for Windows,

with an emulator like WineBottler is is also possible to use the Sound-Teacher with a Mac or other operating systems.

To control the tank, a "standard" RC remote control with a "standard" RC receiver is required for the SFR-1-HL. The tank's original transmitter cannot be used in combination with the SFR-1-HL! It is also possible to control the tank with the Android app SFR-1 Controller and the Bluetooth module BTC-1.

Sound functions:

• For an authentic sound of the model, sounds can be selected for following areas:
• Driving and engine sounds for one motor (speed-dependent)
• Additional sounds (e.g. horns, hydraulic and compressed air noises)
• Random sounds (e.g. squeaking, animal and ambient sounds)

Driving functions:

• A brushed motor (DC) can be controlled smooth and realistic with the SFR-1-HL. An ideal driving behavior can be achieved through a large number of settings.
• The speed controller on the SFR-1-HL has following characteristics:
• Different mixer types
• Different brake functions (with hand- and emergency brake)
• Adjustable load regulation
• Adjustable mass inertia
• Adjustment of throttle curve for different driving behaviors

Light functions:

• To realize different light effects, the SFR-1-HL has 8 switching outputs to connect LEDs, lamps and other consumers. Light functions, such as indicator lights, warning lights, flickering lights, etc. can be easily implemented and controlled.

Additional movements:

• With 2 servo outputs and 2 mini speed controller, additional movements can be controlled and synchronized to the played sound.

How to control:

All SFR-1-HL functions can be activated or deactivated manually by proportional channels of a normal RC-radio, by nautic/multiswitche modules, the Android Bluetooth App "SFR-1-D Controller" or automatically by sounds and movements.

Volume change with potentiomenter:

The original volume control poti or the poti HL 10k mini (with 3 wires) can be used with the SFR-1-HL.
